Backup Platinum is a great tool for backing-up critical data for any system. The program is very easy to use for beginners and also for advanced computer users. I really like the options that you have to save the backup, you can chose to save to any type of storage media: hard or USB drives, CD-R/W or DVD±R/RW media, FTP server or Local Area Network.

The data stored is small and secure thanks to a 128-bit encryption with Blowfish and multi choice ZIP compression, I should mention that Backup Platinum works very fine on MS Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/ XP/2003.

Among other great features Backup Platinum comes with a flexible scheduler which allow users to create automatic backups and creates detailed logs of all operations. The program makes backing up and recovering critical data as easy as clicking a button. Their online help is very well organized which makes Backup Platinum easy to understand and to use and for other other issues they provide a quality support service.

Backup Platinum 30-day trial is available for download with no limitations in functionality and the price per license is 67$, which in my opinion is very good.

I am not really a fan of backup tools because it happens rarely to lose my critical data or have any problems with my computer but Backup Platinum caught my attention and I thought it will be nice to share it in case someone needs a good backup program.

It’s funny that the same computers that we do so much on,
can COST us a lot of money if we don’t have a backup of
our data. Especially when migrating between machines-
trust me folks, a 5 minute backup every month is well worth
it . The blue screen of death or worse!
