Paid Posting / A passive income for bloggers ?

There many points of view in the blogosphere about blogging for money, when I say blogging for money I mean paid posting and I just wanted to share my opinion about getting money for blog posts.

In fact if you take a look from a larger point of view even you place ads on your blog or you are paid directly for posts, blogging is about money or in some cases about promotion which ends up at making money. As a matter of fact I consider paid posting a good way for blog marketing.

If your are considering start posting for money you should know that there are many services over the www that connects advertisers with bloggers but not all of them have good offers for bloggers.

PayPerPost is one of my favourite paid posting service and after they updated their system there are some new features like segmentation system which awards bloggers with high traffic blogs and also the lowest rates on the market, for example PayPerPst only charges a 35% service fee compared to ReviewMe that charges a 100% markup.

If your blog has no huge traffic don’t worry there are plenty of offers to chose from and make some cash for posting and also one important thing for PayPerPost is that disclosure is required from all bloggers.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you mention needing a certain level of traffic to make monetizing a blog worthwhile - otherwise the ads just get in the way of the content.

Established readers are willing to look past the ads but new readers may not be. There are also established bloggers that eschew the ad-supported model all together and instead use their blogs to support their other ventures.

I think that’s a better route to monetization in the long run…

Whenever I see the payperpost logo, I automatically recognize it as an ad and something I don’t want to read unless I decide to study advertising. Funny how it’s a payperpost about payperpost.

Something else I’ve seen to be working well is the SEO of James Brausch (www.JamesBrausch.com). I’ll leave it to you to check out so I don’t sound like a payperpost ad. Does it make a difference to you to know this isn’t a paid ad? It would to me.

That sounds great for bloggers. So, bloggers like us can get paid. On the other hand, a lot of people are expecting free stuff from the internet as ‘free’ in one of the top search keywords.. Paid per Post needs a really good content to get paid. The quality of blogging might have a big switch if Paid per post gets popular.
